The National Palace of Culture – Congress Centre Sofia (NDK) in Sofia is the largest multifunctional complex in South-Eastern Europe. Founded in 1981, the National Palace of Culture – Congress Centre Sofia is the most preferred venue for professional events, organised by various sectors: international congresses, official meetings, conferences and symposia, exhibitions, festivals, and concerts.
It is located in the centre of the capital – a location that ensures easy access to it from and by any representative of the cultural and socio-economic life of the city.
The National Palace of Culture – The National Palace of Culture – Congress Centre Sofia is a member of AIPC and in 2005 it was awarded the “Best Congress Centre in the World” award.
Situated on 123 000 square meters, on eight floors, with four panoramic terraces and three underground levels, the “Palace” is designed to accommodate events of all kinds.
In addition to the 13 halls of different capacities, NDK offers lounges on which organisers can set up 6,000 square meters of exhibition space, pavilions, and stands of varying size, functional design, and layout.
Some of the halls are particularly suited for accompanying events: press conferences, demonstrations, briefings, cocktails, and more.
