Call for Proposals is Now Open
The most valuable event programmes are created by the professionals who shape the industry every day.
That is why EXPO EVENT INDUSTRY 2027 is inviting professionals, organisations and industry experts to contribute to the conference programme by sharing practical experience, innovative ideas, successful projects and inspiring real-life examples.
We are looking for proposals that deliver practical value, encourage knowledge exchange and showcase best practices, new technologies and fresh perspectives from across the meetings and events industry.
The Call for Proposals is open to representatives of hotels, venues, Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs), Destination Management Companies (DMCs), convention bureaux, destinations, technology providers, corporate event planners, industry associations, public institutions, academia, and all professionals with valuable experience to share.
Suggested topics include event management, technology and artificial intelligence, marketing and communications, sustainability, destination development, venues and hospitality, corporate and association events, education, and future talent.
Submission deadline: 15 September 2026
All proposals will be reviewed by the Programme Committee, and selected speakers will become part of the content programme of EXPO EVENT INDUSTRY 2027, taking place on 27–28 January 2027 at Sofia Event Center.
