This year’s Conventa Crossover conference will be taking place in hybrid form for the first time.
With its innovative and bold programme, organisers want Conventa Crossover to become a good practice case that will empower colleagues and instill optimism for the future. Crossover is a space intended for people who haven’t yet lost hope in our fundamental mission – making progress in the meetings industry. An industry that addresses all human senses through the universal language of events.
Starting off the conversation about destinations will be Matthias Schultze, Head of the German Convention Bureau, who will explain the impacts of COVID-19 on the European business events industry.
Special attention will be drawn to a panel discussion about the restart of destination marketing, led by Ivo Franschitz, owner of ENITED Business Events.
Ivo will be joined by Teodora Jilkova from Bulgaria Convention Bureau, Miha Kovačič from Slovenia Convention Bureau, Gernot Marx from Salzburg Convention Bureau, Petra Stušek from Ljubljana Tourism and Romana Vlašić from Dubrovnik Convention Bureau, who will talk about their post-coronavirus experiences.
